How to install wordpress in localhost

Today I am going to share How to install wordpress in localhost:
Wordpress is a CMS (Content Management System) basically used for blogging. But wait, with its advanced feature and functionality you can turn your website into a social networking site to a e-commerce website.
Before going further you must have XAMP, WAMP or MAMP installed on your computer. These are the local servers for Windows and Machintosh. In this blog I assume that you have your server installed on your computer.
Step 1: Download the latest version of wordpress from the official website of Wordpress.
Step 2: Create a folder inside the htdocs of the local server; I will name its as MyGalleries.in.
Step 3: Unzip the downloaded wordpress and copy and paste all the folders and files to the MyGalleries.in folder.
Step 4: Create a database, by typing localhost/phpmyadmin  on your working browser; I will name the database as mygallery.
Step 5: Now the best part, type localhost/MyGalleries.in, on your browser and the installation window will appear, choose your preferred language and click install.
Step 6: Fill up the details for further installation, put database username as root, database name as mygallery and leave the database field blank (if in case your password is wrong try root as a password). Leave the other fields as defaults and click install.
Step 7: After successful redirection click Let's go button.
Step 8: Fill up the details of your website like site title, username, password, email, etc. But, remember to uncheck the discourage search engine checkbox because we are using localhost (You can later check the checkbox).
Congratulations you have successfully installed WordPress on your local machine.
